Boursin
A versatile, delicious, but high fat spread. I regularly use neufchatel but have never tried butter substitute.

Serves: 2-3 cups
Ingredients
- 16 ozs cream cheese, softened
- 8 oz carton whipped butter, salted or unsalted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Option I
- 1 teaspoon tarragon
- 1 teaspoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon chervil
- 1 teaspoon chopped chives
- Option II
- ½ teaspoon oregano
- ¼ teaspoon dill
- ¼ teaspoon marjoram
- ¼ teaspoon basil
- ¼ teaspoon thyme
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
Instructions
- Cream butter and cheese
- Mix in herbs from list I or II
- Cover and refrigerate 1-3 days (3 for best flavor)
